NASCAR is an extremely popular sport, and not just among the guys who wear baseball caps all the time and drive trucks. It's the greatest spectator sport in the United States and many of the drivers are celebrities like Dale Earnhart, Jr. and Jeff Gordon, although it seems like a lot of people don't like Jeff Gordon so much because he's originally from Northern California, which has a reputation for being pretty liberal and not exactly the place where you find a lot of NASCAR people.
