I had never heard of an all inclusive holiday until about four years ago when I was involved in a workshop which was held at at an all inclusive resort. My family came along and had a great time while I worked all day long! They took advantage of the food, the pools, the beach, activities, game rooms -- pretty much everything the place had to offer. They never left the resort. I worked all day. Although the idea of an all-inclusive holiday didn't appeal to me before then, I can see the benefits and understand why many people like the concept.
