I think I would re-do the kitchen in my home if I could do one home improvement. A new floor, new counters and then I would refinish the cabinets. Our home has all the lowest-end choices, made by the original owners. The tile in the kitchen is white and really hard to keep clean, and the floor would be much better with tile. Although the kitchen would be the place to start, I could see doing quite a bit more throughout the house. Even the lawn could stand some re-doing in the backyard.
