ed-tech job search & best education blogs

The new issue of e-School News highlights a number of websites, and also includes their first educational weblog awards. One of the highlighted sites is the Consortium for School Networking's Career Center. The mention that jobs seekers can track up to 100 jobs and get notifications using RSS. They may be a little ahead of themselves there -- the site doesn't have a single job listing yet.

The four winners in the 2006 Education Blog Awards are:

Assorted Stuff by Tim Stahmer - Best Instruction Blog for Teachers (for some reason, this link does not work, but you should be able to go to http://www.assortedstuff.com - it's there, although the link generates an error)

Applied Science Research by Frank LaBanca - Best Classroom Instructional Blog for Students

Moving at the Speed of Creativity by Wesley Fryer - Best Education Theory Blog

EduWonk by Andrew Rotherman - Best K-12 Administration Blog

The only one of these I've read is EduWonk, but the others sound good, so it's time to check them out.
